Manfrotto Skylite Rapid Frame Extra Large 3 x 3m

Set-up takes maybe two minutes once you get the hang of the collapsible frame, and the 3x3m size gives you a huge bounce surface that really softens harsh sun on location. I was worried about wind with something this big, but the rapid lock system holds it surprisingly steady even outside.

I've used this frame for a few outdoor shoots now, and the way it collapses into that compact bag makes transporting it a breeze. The 3x3m size is perfect for softening harsh sunlight, and the rapid setup is genuinely quick even in wind.

Setting up this massive 3x3m frame solo was surprisingly easy once I got the hang of the collapsible hub mechanism — it packs down small enough to fit in my car trunk. The rigid structure holds its shape perfectly even in a light breeze, which made a huge difference for my outdoor portraits.
