Finally, a thermometer that actually reads accurately within a half-degree — the alcohol column is crystal clear against the white backing. I’ve been using it for developing film and the 10-50°C range covers everything I need. The 19.5cm length makes it easy to read without leaning into the tray.

I wasn’t sure the 19.5cm length would fit my tray, but it sits perfectly and the markings from 10 to 50°C are easy to read at a glance. The alcohol column responds quickly, which is exactly what you need when timing a development step.

Works perfectly in my 1-liter beakers, and the alcohol-filled column is much easier to read than old mercury thermometers. The markings are crisp and I’ve had no drift at all after several development sessions.
