Ilford Ilfostop Stop Bath 500ml

Switching to this stop bath was a solid move—the citric acid formula really does keep the odor down compared to the strong vinegar ones I've used before. It stops development quickly and consistently on my fiber prints without any fuss.

The smell is far less harsh than the acetic acid baths I've used before, which makes the whole developing process much more pleasant. It stops development quickly and cleanly for both my film and paper, and a 500ml bottle lasts for quite a few sessions.

The indicator color change is so obvious I can finally stop guessing if my film’s fully stopped—that alone saves me a lot of hassle. And the lack of that harsh vinegar smell means I don’t have to hold my breath while processing a batch of prints.
