Speed and Performance

The FJ400 II is designed to keep up with demanding shoots. With recycle times as fast as 0.01 seconds, you can shoot continuously without waiting for your light to catch up. It also supports continuous capture up to 50 frames per second, depending on your camera and settings.

Flexible Power Options

The included FJ Pro AC/DC battery delivers over 550 full-power flashes per charge, giving you plenty of shooting time on location. For extended sessions, optional higher-capacity batteries are available, and the system also supports AC power with trickle charging for added flexibility.

Consistent and Accurate Colour

Colour consistency is key in professional work, and the FJ400 II maintains a stable 5500K output across its full 9-stop range. This helps ensure reliable results shot after shot, reducing time spent correcting colour in post-production.

Simple and Intuitive Controls

The full-colour OLED touchscreen makes adjusting settings quick and straightforward. With tap, swipe and slide controls, plus built-in help guides, it is easy to make changes on the fly without slowing down your workflow.

Creative Mask for Faster Variety

The Creative Mask feature allows you to capture multiple lighting variations in a single sequence. By controlling when each strobe fires, you can generate up to six different lighting looks without moving your setup, making it ideal for fast-paced shoots or high-volume work.

Wireless Control Across Multiple Brands

The included FJ-X3 M wireless trigger offers multi-brand compatibility, allowing you to control your lighting setup across a wide range of camera systems. With a wireless range of up to 100 metres, 16 groups and 31 channels, it gives you full control over your lighting from a distance.

The round head design and extended flash tube provide an even light spread, making it easy to fill softboxes and modifiers. With a Bowens mount and included Rapid Box Switch insert, it works seamlessly with a wide range of lighting accessories.
