The easy120 35mm Slide Holder is a replacement for the standard holder in the easy120, designed to scan 50x50mm standard mounted 35mm slides.

How It Works

The easy120 Slide Holder uses two internal custom-made leaf springs to press the slide downwards. This centres the slide in the holder, ensuring consistent placement for every scan. Scanning is simple: just insert one slide, capture it, then push it out while inserting the next.

Mount Compatibility

The easy120 Slide Holder works with most standard mounted 35mm slides. However, due to the wide variety of slide mounts available, we can't guarantee compatibility with all of them. In particular, damaged or fragile cardboard slides may jam or get damaged in the holder.

Plastic-mounted slides between 1.5mm and 4mm thick are ideal, and slides made from strong card usually work well too.

Holder Lock Mechanism

The easy120’s metal housing includes a spring-loaded ball bearing system that securely locks the Film Holder in place. Inserting the holder is as simple as pushing it in until it clicks. The lock ensures it stays securely in place but is still easy to remove. This tool-free mechanism allows for quick and precise scanning, providing a smooth user experience.

Device Compatibility

The easy120 Slide Holder is fully compatible with all easy120 units. To replace the holder, simply release a single screw and push the original holder out, then insert the new one.

Note that the easy120 Slide Holder is not compatible with the VALOI 360 system.
