Negative Supply APS Film Scanning Cassette

The Negative Supply APS Film Scanning Cassette is a dedicated accessory that allows you to scan APS film using your existing Negative Supply 35mm carrier setup. Designed to fit seamlessly into compatible carriers, it provides a properly sized film path for APS, making it possible to digitise this less common format with the same speed and precision as standard 35mm workflows.

System Compatibility Notes

This cassette is designed for use with the Negative Supply Basic Film Carrier 35 MK2, Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2, and original Pro Film Carrier 35. It replaces the standard cassette and drops straight into the system. When used with the Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2, the film advance mechanism will only function if paired with the APS Film Advance Module, which is sold separately. Without this, film must be advanced manually. For best results, it is recommended to work with longer APS strips of six frames or more.

Why We Like It

APS might be a niche format today, but there is still a surprising amount of it out there, especially in family archives. This cassette makes it easy to bring those images into a modern workflow without needing a completely separate setup. It fits neatly into the existing Negative Supply system and maintains the same level of control and consistency you would expect when scanning more common formats. If you have APS film to digitise, this is a straightforward and practical solution.

Ruby K. ★★★★★

My APS negatives slot in perfectly flush with the carrier, and the locking mechanism holds them flat with zero wobble during scanning. It's turned my old rolls from a headache into an easy afternoon project, and the whole thing feels solid enough to last.

Emma E. ★★★★★

Finally, a way to scan my old APS rolls without flattening them in a standard holder. The cassette slides right into the Basic carrier and holds the film perfectly flat for sharp, consistent scans.

Grace Z. ★★★★★

Switching from my old flatbed to this cassette for APS film was a breeze, and it fits perfectly into my existing 35mm carrier setup. The dedicated design means no more fiddling with makeshift holders, and the scans come out crisp and evenly lit.
