Fotospeed DV10 is a varigrade dish PQ developer formulated to give a short induction time in dish use topermit the rapid processing of resin coated papers where development is completed in 60 seconds.

Key Features:

  • A varigrade, PQ developer formulated to give a short induction time in dish use.
  • Allows rapid processing of resin coated papers, development completed in 60 seconds.
  • Dilute: 1+9.
Mixing Instructions & Use

DV10 should be diluted 1+9 with water and ideally used at 20°C. The image will appear in 5-10 seconds and development is completed in 60 seconds. Development time can be reduced to compensate for overexposure but immersion time should not be shorter than 30 seconds.

Alternatively, development time can be extended tocompensate for under exposure. However, to obtain perfect tonal range the correct exposure is preferable.

Capacity

50 sheets of 8x10in paper can be processed in 1Ltr of DV10 working solution diluted at 14+9.

Storage

A full tightly capped bottle of Fotospeed DV10 will keep for one year and a half full bottle for about four months. During use, Fotospeed DV10 will keep in good condition for about 24 hours in an open dish and for about one week in a deep tank with floating lid.

Customer Reviews (4.8 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Ruby O. ★★★★★

Mixed a batch for the first time last night and the short induction time is exactly as described—my prints were fully developed in under 90 seconds. The PQ formula gives a crisp, neutral black that really pops on RC paper.

Zoe U. ★★★★★

The tonal range on multigrade papers is noticeably better than with my old developer, and the PQ formula keeps the solution stable for days between sessions. Even at lower dilutions, the times are still short enough to make test strips quick.

Lily ★★★★★

The short induction time is exactly what I needed for RC papers in the tray—prints are ready in under a minute without any fiddly temperature fuss. A litre lasts through a solid session, and the gradation control stays consistent even as the developer starts to exhaust.
