Firstcall Cyanotype Printing-Out Sun Print Paper 8x10" Pack of 10

The principle element of Alternative Process printing was to use the sun's rays to react with paper once coated with emulsion - hence the name Printing-Out paper.

We sell 133 gsm 5x7" and 8x10" treated versions of this wonderful paper which requires no further chemical treatment, darkroom or photographic equipment.

Simply place objects such as leaves, shells, flowers or textured patterns onto the surface and expose to sunlight. Exposure times vary depending on the season and intensity of the sun, but on a typical British sunny day allow 10-15 minutes for the paper to react.

After an exposure, wash in tap water for 30 seconds and wait for the image to appear.

We thoroughly recommend this paper for art and nature projects within schools.

Eli ★★★★★

I set three sheets out in direct midday sun and the deep Prussian blue emerged in under 5 minutes, exactly as the classic emulsion process promises. The paper holds detail nicely—no blotching or uneven patches.

Natalie ★★★★★

The 8x10 size gives plenty of canvas for detailed botanicals, and the paper holds its deep blue tone beautifully after a quick water rinse. I was surprised how quickly the exposure works on a bright afternoon.

I've been experimenting with sun prints and these 8x10 sheets give a really nice, rich blue tone after about 20 minutes in direct sunlight. The paper itself has a good weight to it and doesn't curl as much as other brands I've tried. Was able to make a couple of detailed botanical prints that turned
