Canon EOS R7 APS-C Mirrorless Camera Body

Canon EOS R7 Body

EXPLORE THE WILD & GO BEYOND

Continuing the legacy of our formidable EOS 7D series cameras, the EOS R7 with RF-S 18-150MM F3.5-6.3 IS STM Lens packs precision AF, state-of-the-art image stabilisation and incredible speed into a next-generation mirrorless EOS R series body. The result is a true hybrid camera: able to tell stories with still and moving images. With you on every step of your creative journey.

Track subjects across the frame

Keep fast-moving subjects pin-sharp with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II. It’s programmed using deep-learning AI to recognise people, animals and vehicles, wherever they are in the frame.

Up to 7 stops of image stabilisation

An in-body Image Stabiliser (IBIS) works in concert with an RF lens’s optical IS to deliver up to 7 stops of protection against camera shake. It also provides highly effective image stabilisation with lenses that don’t have their own IS.

Get close for amazing detail

Lenses give 1.6x more telephoto reach than the same focal length on a full-frame camera, thanks to the EOS R7’s APS-C sized sensor. That’s ideal for sports and wildlife photography, as well as for finding details in landscapes and shooting powerful portraits.

Ferocious speed to capture the moment

Ideal for fleeting moments, the EOS R7 shoots continuously at up to 15fps – or 30fps* with its silent electronic shutter – all with AE and tracking AF. Shoot confidently for longer, thanks to a large buffer and Dual UHS-II Card slots.

One camera for photos and video

Enjoy the flexibility to shoot however you want, without switching cameras. 4K video is awesome with an oversampled 30fps mode, a slow-motion 60p and a separate crop mode. Footage will slot easily into pro editing workflows thanks to Canon Log 3. Support for vertical video is great for social media.

Connected to the world

Wherever you are, the EOS R7 helps get your content where it needs to be. Upload straight from the camera to the image.canon cloud with Wi-Fi, or connect to your smartphone for sharing to social media.

New Technology

New 32 megapixel image sensor

A new APS-C sized sensor provides a great balance between resolution, speed and low-light performance. It offers sensitivity up to ISO 32,000 for stills (extendable to ISO 51,200) and to ISO 12,800 (extendable to ISO 25,600) when shooting video.

Each of the sensor’s 32 million pixels is split into two photosites, allowing Dual Pixel CMOS AF II focusing and Dual Pixel RAW. Dual Pixel CMOS AF operates in up to 651 autofocus zones (31 x 21) with virtually 100 per cent coverage of the frame.

image.canon cloud RAW processing

Raw files from the EOS R7 can be processed in the image.canon cloud for the ultimate in image quality. More advanced noise and more reduction results in more natural-looking JPEG and HEIF image files.

Panoramic and auto-level horizon

The EOS R7’s in-body IS (IBIS) can be used to auto-level images, making wonky horizons a thing of the past. It’s available in photo and video modes and when shooting horizontally and vertically. The auto level can be used at the same time as IBIS and is available with both mechanical and electronic shutters. Image stabilisation can also be applied while swinging the camera to create a panorama. The technology works for any RF, RF-S, EF or EF-S lens.
