RODE Deadcat for VideoMic Pro

Went hiking with this on my mic and the difference in wind noise is night and day. The fur feels dense but lightweight, and it stays put even in strong gusts. Footsteps and background rustle are nearly gone now.

Shot an interview on a rooftop with gusts strong enough to knock over my stand, and the fur did exactly what it's supposed to—not a single rumble on the audio track. Snaps on and off in seconds, and it's light enough that I forgot it was even there.

Took this out on a blustery day and the audio stayed clean, even with gusts that would normally ruin a take. The artificial fur does a great job cutting out the rumble without muffling the mic's pickup.
