Kaiser フィルムリトリーバー

Took me maybe five seconds to fish the film out of the cartridge, and the little retriever slots in so smoothly it didn't even scratch the spool. Forget wrestling with bent leaders — this thing is my new darkroom best friend.

Been struggling with bent film leaders for years, but this little tool grabs them perfectly every time in just a few seconds. It's a solid little metal piece that slides right into the cannister with no fuss.

Pulled my last roll out of the cartridge in maybe ten seconds, and the little grip teeth grabbed the film edge perfectly without any scratching. It’s become a permanent fixture on my darkroom bench.
