The hook snapped perfectly onto my light stand, and the paper roll spins so smoothly there’s no jerking or noise. I’ve been using it all day for portrait setups, and it holds a heavy roll without slipping at all.

Bought these to hold up a roll of seamless paper, and the spring-loaded clamps really do grip the background tightly without slipping. The only small drawback is that they fit my light stands snugly, so I have to adjust carefully. For the price, they’re a solid, simple tool for the studio.

The clamp opens wide enough to grip my light stands without any wrestling, and once it’s on, the paper roll sits snugly in the curve. Took me maybe a minute to swap backgrounds mid-shoot, which is exactly what I needed. Only wish the set came with a third hook for wider rolls.
