The catchlight it produces is genuinely soft and round, just like a real indirect softbox, which is exactly what I was hoping for with the deep silver umbrella combo. Clips onto the ribs securely and the diffuser feels sturdy enough for regular studio work.

Took me a minute to figure out the clip mechanism, but once it's on, the light quality is gorgeous—it genuinely mimics an indirect softbox with the deep silver umbrella, and my catchlights look round and natural.

This translucent diffuser fits perfectly on the deep umbrella and completely changes the light quality, turning it into a softbox-like feel. The catchlight it creates is a nice bonus for portrait work, and the build feels sturdy enough for regular studio use.
